School?s over!
Now this journey is over, my two years of study are done. On Friday June 3rd, I will formally graduate from MIT Sloan with an MBA degree. After that, I will move to California, but fear not; as far as I understand they have Internet connection on the West Coast so I can continue [...] Stella Exam Artois
This is unusual, but awesome. I am currently in an exam and drinking my favorite beer at the same time!
"Now how could that be possible?", you might ask. Well, one thing is for sure that neither MIT nor the US federal government has relaxed its zero tolerance rules towards drinking in public or on [...] About Me I have been getting feedback on my blog:
It's not active enough
It's not enough "news of me" oriented
I've decided to change that. This blog will get everyone up to speed, and I'll try to post at least weekly from here on with some news or other material that I think of. So here goes...
I am [...] Joy to the world? are all people worth equal?
Finally some good news from Iraq. The bad guys decided to release the Italian reporter Sgrena, despite the fact that the Italian government has not decided to withdraw their troops from the country. There's only one hitch to the freedom of the reporter: the mediator, Nicola Calipari, who is credited for negotiating the release of [...] Server Busy?!? So what!
This one is funny... I occasionally get the dialog you can see on the right, but I always think it's hilariously funny, and yet, at the same time, extremely insulting and unfriendly.
Why on earth would someone tell you there’s a problem, you have two options, and that you should choose one option to fix the [...] Two papers added Just a quick note: I added two papers that I wrote in a course here at MIT about the software business (the course has the very original name "The Software Business"). The links are on the right.
Enjoy! Firefox rulez!
Yes! I've done it! I mustered up some courage to step up against the big evil empire and switched my main browser to Firefox 1.0. And to be honest, it's better than IE!
When you first start using Firefox, you don't notice anything really different (except of course that the UI is not exactly the same), [...] New category - New emphasis Hi ya'll! I've decided to shift focus and start writing about a new topic: the software business. Ok, it may be a bit misnomer of a category, since I won't be giving you news about what's happening in the Valley. However, I will be focusing on what companies, especially young startups, should be doing to [...] Is ignorance killing democracy?
Last night was an interesting one. The people in the country I currently live in went out and voted for who was going to be their president for the next 4 years. I live in the United States, and unfortunately this country is in serious trouble.
If you look at the states that voted for the [...] I?m back? School has been busy, scooter is broken (dead?) and I just haven't had time to write weblog entries.
On my scooter project, I have acquired a nice device to serve as my mobile blog entry system, the HP iPaq H6315. It has a built in camera, connects via bluetooth, GPRS and wi-fi and has memory and [...] Airborne troopers?
Well, I'm back from California! This vacation was great, but when I was driving Interstate 5 from San Diego to San Francisco I noticed this funny sign. I-5 is a nice road to drive; in fact it's so nice that they even bumped the maximum speed to 70 MPH. But there is one problem: [...] Lime Green Scooter is on vacation
I just received a comment from my only reader that I should write more. Well, I hadn't told him (in fact, I hadn't really told anybody) that I'm currently on vacation in sunny California. The picture attached to this weblog is typical of the clothing I am not wearing these days. To be more specific, [...] Vod is a boj tú dú?
I've been thinking about the voice capturing problem, and I think I may have a pretty good solution. The main issue, as far as I can see, is that voice recognition is CPU and memory intensive. So, if I want a portable solution that I can use while riding my scooter, it's probably not [...] A project, my goal in life
I found it! I managed to materialize my goal with this blog, and my life mission! I'm constantly frustrated by the fact that I spend a lot of time in idle mode (commuting on the T, riding my scooter, stuck in downtown traffic), and while I'm in that mode, I get great ideas, think [...] Fugato.net
Whadd-ya-know! I found this picture on my old (broken) Nokia phone. This is Gulli, who is hosting this site for me, and also has his own blog. I just suddenly felt the urge to tell people about him (who reads this blog anyway?!?). He's a genuinely great guy, too bad he's currently doing stuff [...] |
